apparatus takes the performative power of matter seriously. Things, including those of the theater, are not just passive matrixes, they are active agents for situations. Everything is a process and all agents in that process determine how it materializes. Space is a container beyond measure, a belief that apparatus employs as a dramaturgical springboard. Their projects evolve from an relational web of space, bodies, textures and shading. Theater itself can manifest and be the host for a better reality. From project to project, apparatus forms temporary collectives from new configurations of human and non-human agents.
